Privacy Policy

OhmoraIQ is operated by OhmoraIQ. OhmoraIQ is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy — meaning we decide how and why your data is processed. You can reach us at ssimons@voltiqlearning.com.

Your email address and display name, the labs and quizzes you complete, exam scores, bookmarks, streaks, and the questions you ask the AI tutor. That's it — no advertising trackers and no sale of personal information.

To sign you in, save your progress across devices, resurface questions you missed, and show your crew your completed-lab count when you accept a friend request.

Only you, and any electrician whose friend request you accepted — they see your completed lab count and streak, never your answers or email history.

We use a hosted database and authentication provider to store accounts and progress, and an AI provider to answer tutor questions. They process data on our behalf only.

When you buy a subscription, your order is processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle receives the billing information needed to complete the sale, manage your subscription, process payments, handle tax compliance and invoicing, and deal with refund requests. Paddle's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

We may also share data with professional advisers (legal, accounting) and with authorities where the law requires it.

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level isolation so one account can never read another's progress.

You can delete everything yourself at any time from Account settings — it removes your account, progress, exam history, bookmarks and crew connections immediately and permanently. You can also download a copy of all of it first.

Prefer we do it? Email ssimons@voltiqlearning.com from your account address and we will delete it within 30 days.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold, correct it, export it, or delete it. The Account settings page does the export and the deletion instantly; for anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data to provide the service you signed up for and on the basis of your consent, and you may object, restrict processing, or complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising it — we do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.

Your training data stays for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account it is removed straight away; routine backups roll off within 30 days.

OhmoraIQ is for working and apprenticing electricians and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
